The development of the Amor® brand was started in 1968 in the condom area. In fact, at this time, Amor was producing condoms and bags for vending machines. 10 years later, in 1978, Amor® embraced Interlatex with its Erotim® brand.
In 2004, Michael Dills, who worked at the time on the board of directors of Condomi, acquired the full company with all brands.
In 2006, Michael Deals acquired Rimbacher Latex Contor and at the same time the brands Rilaco®, Rilason® and Playgel®.
In 2011, the company grew and moved to a new location in Arnstadt (Germany) with a new building, a warehouse and a new production facility.
Since June 1, 2012, AMOR® Gummiwaren GmbH acquired the main parts of the largest production site for vibrators, lubricants, application vibrators and medical lubricants from the Hungarian company BU from Kft., A subsidiary of the BeateUhse group. The contract also includes the acquisition of various well-known brands, including Lavetra and Vibratissimo. This acquisition transforms the company from Arnstadt into one of the leading European suppliers of a full range of erotic products.
